Order Pork- None for 2023.  Downsizing.

**** Check w me by contact info above for availability.  We have ongoing litters of "big/littles" and "littles" .  The grow out size doesn't happen as often because we get a lot of demand for either weaner piglets, or roaster size.  So we don't get many full grown ones for sale, and they are sold live,  more often than not. *****

This next year 2020 is a new direction, with our experiment pairing "Porkarena" a Hampshire/Duroc/Yorkshire gilt to our AGH/KK boar "Little Pig".  We are shooting for some more size, for folks that want to have a butcher process their pig, but still keep the "easy keeper"/cheap feeding  and laid back personality traits of our little pigs in the new babies.  Porkarena gave us her first seven piglets on July 3, 2020.  We plan to keep back some for our freezer to taste test, and sell piglets.  So far, those piglets' frame was twice the size of the newborns from the AGH/KK cross, which tells us that we got the size, for sure.

We are going to feed our family first and sell the extra.
I will keep this page and Facebook updated with prices and amounts, contact info, order info, as I get it.  I expect pigs  to possibly be ready in Fall of 2020. People's interest in this product and feedback will determine whether or not I can fit in commitments for pork alongside the grassfed beef ventures.

We have only been here a year or two (although raising animals for 7 or 8 before we moved to this bigger place}, and are still working out the kinks and such for infrastructure for the "actual" (wannabe) farm- fencing paddocks, and setting up hands-free watering for the animals and gardens.  We would love to have you follow along on our adventure with us on our blog and Facebook.

Thanks for being patient with us.
In the meantime, here are some piggy pics and pics from our last barbecue and a ham from one of the earlier pigs, AGH/KK. Hubs smoked the ham outside himself for 3 days on the firepit, and he did the 7 mo old pig here to the right,  whole in a big smoker barbecue. These ones were home-processed.  Also, we did NOT castrate these little boars, and 40+ people at the barbecue did not detect "boar taint", only the grass fed slightly "gamey" flavor, similiar to the difference between grain fed beef and deer meat, because of their diet.

Check out our Pig FAQ page for a running list of questions answered about these little AGH/KK guys.
